If this is true disconnect the PST files and restart outlook.Also, have you tried to do a repair on the users Outlook client? If yes, when you turn it off does this issue still happen? Also check the total mailbox size for this user and see if it is close to the 2GB limit. Is Outlook stuck on a screen that simply says "Processing"?Or does Outlook hang, freeze, or stop working when you're opening a file or sending an email message?There are a number of possible reasons for Outlook to behave this way.

I awarded the points to Spec01 since I did run the repair tool and found errors which may have helped in correcting the problem.

This will gradually reduce to 1 B but stay on that. So I close Outlook and restart and it starts all over again, stopping at 1 B. While it is updating, no new email lands in the inbox until i restart outlook, then any new items will be updated, but no more will arrive until outlook is again restarted. If yes, discconect the mailboxes, and continue to test.
